The West Groton-East Lansing Church board was organized. Bathrooms were installed in the West Groton Church. The combined church families begin to support missionaries again for the first time in many years. The first missionaries served in Kenya, Brazil, and Philadelphia. The 150th anniversary of the West Groton Congregational Church is celebrated on July 13, 1966.
